Mindfulness is at the heart of spiritual practice. To be more keenly aware of oneself and the world is to be more present, more open, more fully alive. In this three-day retreat, we’ll explore mindfulness by reading and writing poetry and practicing the Feldenkrais Method of Awareness Through Movement®. Our time will be balanced between poetry discussions, guided meditations, writing exercises, and gentle movement lessons. All of these practices provide opportunities to cultivate greater present-moment awareness so that we can bring a mindful clarity and ease to whatever we do. No previous experience with poetry, meditation, or Feldenkrais is necessary. All are welcome.
